Taylor & Francis Group, a leading international academic publisher, has a vacancy for an Editor within the Routledge imprint working on the Mental Health list.

Working within a team of editors, this position involves the commissioning of new books and new editions in the field of psychiatry and clinical psychology. The job will involve working on a range of product types and will involve commissioning books from a variety of authors.

The key focus of the job will be maintaining a forward-thinking strategy for the list, building on our reputation for high-quality books and pinpointing growth areas.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about the subject matter, will be willing to travel and possess strong commercial awareness. They will ideally be of graduate calibre or equivalent, and may have previous commissioning experience. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone with passion, energy, maturity and extremely good organisational and interpersonal skills.

This position will be based in our New York office.
