Recruitment Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities include:

+ Build and maintain relationships with all
hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.

+ Work with hiring managers to prepare job
postings to be posted both internally and externally.

+ Develop relationships and network with outside
partners, including local colleges, job boards, social media outlets, other
agencies or professional associations, etc., to identify new and creative
avenues for recruiting both active and passive job applicants.

+ Work with our Director of Marketing and PR
to market the agency as a desirable employer and increase our name recognition
with potential job candidates. Maintain
and update our online applicant site and LinkedIn page to ensure that they
display current news and information designed to attract qualified job

+ Plan and participate in various recruiting
events, including attending local college recruiting and job fairs.

+ Screen all job applicants to ensure that
they meet the minimum qualifications using the rating system in e3, our online
applicant management system. Forward
qualified candidates to hiring managers and continue tracking progress of
candidates in e3.

+ Screen current employees who apply for
transfers and coordinate internal interview and transfer process.

+ Work with the HR Assistant to conduct all
required background checks on applicants.

+ Issue offer letters to selected job
candidates and work with the HR Assistant to coordinate the completion of all
new hire paperwork and initial onboarding process.

+ Manage the agency's online applicant
system, including making updates to forms and processes and running
recruitment-related reports as necessary.

+ Work with our outside vendor to oversee
the preparation of the agency's annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and
perform all tasks necessary to fulfill the agency's affirmative action
obligations as a government contractor.

+ Develop recruitment policies and
procedures that reflect best practices.
Follow relevant changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure
that they are incorporated into our recruitment policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

+ Bachelor's degree with 2 years' recruitment experience, preferably at a human services agency, or high school diploma with 10 years' recruitment experience for human services agencies.

+ PHR or SPHR, or other Human Resources professional certification a plus.

+ Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.

+ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience working with HRIS software that includes online recruiting and applicant tracking features.


+ Full-time, minimum of 35 hours per week.
